Spring Conferences
Spring parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, March 20th to Friday, March 22nd. Spring Conferences work somewhat differently than those in the fall. In recognition that many students are progressing as expected and there isn’t much cause for concern, the bulk of the conference will be dedicated to the given student “exhibiting” work from his or her portfolio (this is different than the school-wide Exhibition Night on April 26th). To view the portfolio, receive the report card, and chat briefly about your child, you can simply “drop in” during either of the two open sessions. If you feel a full conference is going to be necessary, you may schedule a specific time by e-mailing a request to charles.hadley@district6.org, by calling the school office at 541-494-6500, or simply by leaving a reply in the comment box below. If possible, please cluster your time near those of others (thanks!). As spots are filled, I’ll update this list as confirmation. If none of these times work for you, please call and we’ll figure something out. Additionally, I’ll be contacting families where there is cause for concern and who, in my opinion, should most certainly opt for the full conference. Also, if at all possible please bring the student with you to the conference. Thanks! UPDATED 03/06/2019
