Dear Parents and Families-
2015 is here! This is my favorite time of the school year. Please take some time to double check your student’s school supplies. I’ve noticed that students are running low on pencils and lined notebook paper for their binders. At the beginning of the year, I instructed students to put only what they needed in their binders and to take the rest home. Now is a good time to dip into those reserves.
Prior to the break I asked the kids to read a book over the break. They were told that they would need to think of a creative way to present their book to the class. The reports were not due today, only the completion of their book. Presentations will begin Tuesday 1-20. The link below takes you to a list of 150 different ways for students to present a book other than the standard written report. I will go over this assignment in more detail in class.
